Ten Ways to Prepare Your Church for Company This Advent Season
10) Take a look around your narthex and hallways. Make sure old papers are down, plants look fresh, and bulletin boards are updated.
9) Make sure current information booklets of your church are readily available and easy to see, and pew cards are current.
8) Make sure the Bible the pastor is reading from is available in all pews.
7) Have greeters stationed at all exits both before and after all worship services.
6) In inclement weather, have people outside with big, bright umbrellas assisting traffic.
5) Have additional “special greeters” in the congregation assigned to seek out new faces to welcome them.
4) Clearly and widely advertise all future events at each current event.
3) Encourage everyone to sign the fellowship pads. Have your pastor announce it every Sunday.
